border=0>Visit VanTaylor.com | Why This Matters Support a conservative Iraq vet for Congress. Put this graphic on your blog: b> |
...You can't complain about the lack of leading conservatives in Congress. It's that simple. We all have obligations, priorities, budgets and plans. But investing in your politics is important, people. Blogging isn't enough. Commenting isn't enough. Telling your friends, while valuable, isn't enough.
You want influence? Consider this: the biggest PAC in the world can only give $5,000 per election - and you better believe that people notice when Association X makes that kind of committment of support. We're about to do twice that as a community.
The fundraising effort for Van Taylor has been tremendously
successful. In just the first day, we surpassed $7,000.00. We're about $1,500.00 away from the $10,000.00
mark.
Let's prove that we can do this. Let's raise that last $1,500.00. Please help us raise money for this Iraq War Veteran. Please help us
send this conservative Republican to Congress.
Click the graphic and contribute now. Remember to add $0.06 to
let them know you're from RedState
Now get it done. And here's another $100.06 from me.

I wanted to make sure I had the right to bi***.
I had already chipped in $15.06 (I know, it's small, but I'm pretty broke), but just now put in another $10.06 so I could get a dollar out of your pocket! :) I can't resist coupon sales!
p.s. Don't tell my husband. He already shakes his head at me!
He's got an uphill battle, but he's off to a good start!
Anyone see the Dallas Morning News' article about this?
A follow-up is in the Waco paper (http://www.wacotrib.com/news/content/news/stories/2006/04/26/04262006wacedw
ardskin.html). The prosecutor claims that he dismissed the case less than two months after the arrests for insufficient evidence, even though they had the crack, the car, and the two occupants.

The guy has a lot going for him externally.
Veteran.
Good looking.
Young.
Great campaign name, 'VAN'
Potential Slogan via above Get 'The Van' to Washington!
Now I just have to go donate to the Wounded Warrior Project (something I do every year).

There... now I feel better...
For another $25 but didn't add the $.06 accidentally. Someone else add the $.12, please, and I'll have to owe you a tiny, tiny sampling of your favorite beverage.

I'll break down and do it. After all, I am a Texan and would like to see the quality in the Texas Delegation go up.
My ultra-liberal, Howard Dean-loving grandparents gave me $50 for Easter. Can't wait to write the thank you letter telling them that it went to Van Taylor. Plus, I gave $50 to Henry Cuellar, so...fair is fair.
RedState editors...this guy had better be good in the mold of Mike Pence, John Shadegg, and Jeb Hensarling when he gets to Washington. LOL
I made a donation earlier this week. Its my first political donation in a long time. As a fellow Texas, and an opportunity to help flip a House seat, it was too good an opportunity to pass up.
(And I did add the $0.06 :)
Just got a "thank you" call from the candidate a few moments ago. I was very (pleasantly) surprised at that.

I've already donated, and I know it's not much, but I'll give a $1.06 for every RedStater who donates anything over $10 until we hit $10,000. Reply here.
