New Video: Cranky Osama?

Another 19 minute message from bin Laden, on his dead pal Zarqawi - here are some excerpts from his message. He seems a mite perturbed.

"Our Islamic nation was surprised to find its knight, the lion of jihad, the man of determination and will, Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, killed in a shameful American raid ... We pray to God to bless him and accept him among the martyrs as he had hoped for...Even if we lost one of our greatest knights and and princes, we are happy that we have found a symbol for our great Islamic nations, one that the mujahedeen will remember and praise in poetry and in stories, secretly and aloud.

"We remember his words, 'We are fighting in Iraq with our eye on Jerusalem' ... He set the foundation to defend his religion, win the return of Palestine, God willing, and avenge the downtrodden. He exhausted the Americans, the allies of the Jews, and made them stagger, killing their men, bleeding them of money and breaking their ranks ... Al Zarqawi's story will live forever with the stories of the nobles, so don't cry over one who is not missing. He can teach the world a lesson on how to seize freedom - for freedom can never be given to those cowering under the dome of democracy - and how to resist tyrants.

"The enemy attacked Iraq ... the mountains shook .. and in these difficult circumstances, the knight of Islam Abu Musab appeared like a fierce lion ... He entered the war and began to fight, using a good number of Kalashnikovs and anti-tank mines and bazookas, for he had previous been in the holy war against the Russians.

"To those who accuse the knight of Islam of killing a certain sector of Iraq's people, I say to them ... Abu Musab had clear instructions to focus his fight on the occupiers, particularly the Americans and to leave aside anyone who remains neutral. But for those who refused [neutrality] and stood to fight on the side of the crusaders against the Muslims, then he should kill them whoever they are, regardless of their sect or tribe. For supporting infidels against Muslims is a major sin.

"Then I tell [President] Bush: You must return the body of the hero to his family. And don't be too happy. ... We will continue to fight you and your allies everywhere, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Sudan to run down your resources and kill your men until you return defeated to your nation, just as we defeated yoou before in Somalia. And I tell your minion in Jordan: Enough tyranny. You prevented Abu Musab from entering his homeland while he was alive, don't prevent that now. What scares you about Abu Musab after he's dead? You know that his funeral, if allowed to happen, would be a huge funeral showing the extent of sympathy with the mujahedeen."

"In conclusion, I say that Abu Musab was not just an honor to his tribe, his country and his Islamic nation, but to all mankind, for he embodied the meaning of pride and glory."

when I heard he did not die right away and that the last people he saw were Iraqi and U.S. soldiers.

Interesting how a Jihad hero is one who blows up women and children, and needs a person blindfolded and bound to show their toughness.  Al qeada in Iraq is the primary group killing innocent iraqi civilians, so much for killing the infidels and so little muslim outrage?

I took the liberty of saving Bin Laden and Al-Jazeera some time editorial time on their next news release:

"In conclusion, I say that INSERT NAME HERE was not just an honor to his tribe, his country and his Islamic nation, but to all mankind, for he embodied the meaning of pride and glory."

It is my firm belief they will get several opportunities to use this again. They can contact me for a fee schedule to edit the remainder.

Literally insane.  Put-them-in-a-Straightjacket-and-stick-some-Thorazine-in-them insane.  No person who called for that could ever be re-elected in this country for anything above the level of dogcathcer.

I don't care how safe the seat is.  :)

I am curious how all the mankind he killed feels about him?

And to whom do you think he was referring?

...would be one heck of a rumor to spread: "Yeah, they're slipping tracer chips into the inmates' food.  After they let 'em go, they just wait for a few weeks then activate the chips.  As soon as they get a good lead on the bad guys, out come the 500 pounders..."

Afterall, if we don't then we become as bad as the terrorists, no?

Frankly if it were me I'd cremate him and cast his ashes far and wide or bury him in the desert somewhere in an unmarked grave --- face down.

"Our Islamic nation was surprised to find its knight, the lion of jihad, the man of determination and will, Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, killed in a shameful American raid" -- hey, Osama, stick your head out of the cave for 15 minutes and you can join him.  Do you think Osama knows how to do the chicken dance in the darkness of his hole?

"He entered the war and began to fight, using a good number of Kalashnikovs and anti-tank mines and bazookas, for he had previous been in the holy war against the Russians."  Yes, I've seen the video -- his skill with weapons was unsurpassed.  As long as he did not have to do anything other than pull the trigger.

"Then I tell [President] Bush: You must return the body of the hero to his family."  Excellent point -- Osama, if we give you the location and time to pick it up, promise you'll be there?

"You know that his funeral, if allowed to happen, would be a huge funeral showing the extent of sympathy with the mujahedeen."  Another excellent point -- think we can scare up a couple more bombs to make sure the funeral goes off with a bang?

"For supporting infidels against Muslims is a major sin."

Then I suggest that you stop, Osama bin Laden.

"You must return the body of the hero to his family."

If you're such a strong horse, Osama bin Laden, make us.

Moe

PS: I'd like to be able to tell you that the last thing that went through your comrade's head was the thought of jihad, but, truth be told, it was merely hydrostatic shock.

I don't mean people agreeing to the request on the condition that ObL pick the body up personally.  :)

Shove a GPS chip up his backside and ship him back.

the first Democrat to take up UBL's talking points and demand Bush give the body to the family?  Howard Dean is probably ticked we didn't give him a trial.

Dear Osama,

As regards the body of Zarqawi, we have provided an appropriate burial. A large pit was dug and a herd of pigs was allowes to deficate in it until the was a pool 6 feet deep. The body was then inserted and a concrete lid poured. After it dried sand was poured in until the ground was leveled. A similar place has been prepared for you.

Cordially,

GWB

He did want a trial for Bin Laden.

Also, there really are some insane Democrats, Babs Boxer, Hinchey, Fortney Pete Stark, Barbara Lee, my senior senator, Ted Kennedy, just to name a few.  I think liberalism indicates insanity but besides that, there are a few real wacko's across the isle.

Two points are not like the others.

  1. He exhausted the Americans...breaking their ranks  As Tbone aptly pointed out, this is referring to a certain group of Americans that shall remain unnamed.  They are giving comfort to the enemy.  He said so himself.  He views their failure to stand with us against the terrorists as a success, a reason to keep on keeping on.  Shame.
  2. We will continue to fight you and your allies everywhere...until you return defeated to your nation, just as we defeated yoou before in Somalia.  OK, I'm not going to say anything else about Clinton's Blackhawk Down failure in Somolia, but for Murtha to use it as an example of what we should be doing is obviously encouraging them that it's not out of the question.  He needs to stop.

...take up UBL's talking points when he has clearly taken up theirs?  His 19 minute transcript sounds like a Howard Dean monologue...but slightly less shrill and angry.

You must have seen my earlier commentin the open thread.
