Joe Schwarz was one of only 27 Republicans in the House to vote against the Marriage Protection Amendment. He was one of 30 Republicans who not only supported hate crimes legislation, but also supported John Conyer's attempt to add "sexual orientation" to hate crimes legislation.
Schwarz also joined Gov. Granholm in signing a fundraising letter for the Triangle Foundation, an organization that, according to the American Family Association of Michigan, is anti-Boy Scout, pro-abortion on demand, urges "discussion" of adult-child sex, and has campaigned against Dick DeVos, the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Michigan -- presumably with money Schwarz helped raise.
Help defeat Joe Schwarz.

Nothing like fallacious mobying to get a thread off to that SPECIAL start.
That wants to add 10 or 12 amendments to the Constitution.
If we want to make this thing a living document, we have to start helping it breathe!
...to people aware of Michigan politics, should be a kiss of death, guaranteed. Granholm is basically the caricature of what us Republicans like to think of as a stereotypical arch-progressive... Canadian-born, Berkeley-educated, and being tagged along by the "First Gentleman" of the state, who anymore just has to go by the title, as, by virtue of the fact that Granholm did not take her husband's name, makes him just seem like an average joe (or Dan, as the case may be). And that's to say nothing of her hideous positions (which, in addition to going against good morals, go against common sense), making Michigan the economic laughingstock of the country.
Therefore, having your name being attached to the same position as her, if you are a member of the Republican Party, is a pretty ugly situation, as it's extraordinarily rare (if ever) that she'll end up even to the center on a political issue, let alone on the conservative side of things. But for Joe Schwarz to be associated with Granholm on fundraising for this insipid organization, which seems to be actively campaigning against Republican office-seekers, is enough of a reason to me to be convinced that he needs to be given some time away from Washington to think over just what he's done. Heh.
She was once on the "Dating Game."
She goes up 10 points with the trailer-trash vote on that item alone!

These gaynuts who probably had a son or nephew who is just a delightful homosexual American (which is better than the other son or nephew with a drug problem) are a huge problem with the GOP today. There should be no room in the party for giving an inch to the homosexual agenda.
