Democratic Vice Presidential Nomination

By Soren Dayton

Serial Plagiarist Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) is a bit of an odd-duck. Over the last couple of years, he has resisted the far-left at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, by refusing to demagogue the Iraq issue. He has generally pushed for responsible changes and a little bit more detail. A National Security Council staffer (translation: Bush White House staffer) has described Biden's interventions to me as "generally helpful."

He even laid into the Democrat's Presidential candidates. For example, he attacked Obama saying, "I don’t recall hearing a word from Barack about a plan or a tactic." He described Hillary Clinton's plan as "nothing but disaster" and "a very bad idea."

Not only that. He praised John McCain, even suggesting that he would be willing to be a running mate of McCain's. Seriously. Watch the video:

Yes, indeed, he said, "I would be honored to run with ... John McCain because the country would be better off." But today, he changes his tune and attacks John McCain. What's going on? Answer after the jump.
