It cannot be emphasized enough that Naomi Klein is a demagogic author in over her head when it comes to writing denunciations of Milton Friedman and capitalism. I suppose that I could send you to a whole host of links to make my case for this proposition, but fortunately, a good number of them are found in this post.

The beauty of this post stems not just from the post itself, which is a sober response to a hyperpartisan attack on Milton Friedman, but from the many comments as well that call Daniel Davies to account for his bizarre post. Little by little, Davies's rationalizations and excuses fall to the side thanks to commenters who take him to task for his ill-tempered and irrational rant. It's actually something of a joy to read through.
